Getting to London Stansted Airport
By Bus
The bus station is just outside the terminal building and operates 24 hours a day 7 dys a week and is open fom 06.30 until 21.30.
National Express is able to take passengers to Stansted from cities all over the UK via London. Connections are from London Central, London Heathrow, Golders Green and Cambridge.
Stansted Easybus operates to Baker Street cenral London evey 20 minutes from 03.00 with the last return time 0.10
By Car
Stansted airport is located just off the M11 at Junction 8 which connects to the M25 to the South and the A14/A1 to the North. The M11 is the major link road for travellers using the A1 and the M25 going south of London and with the added load of airport traffic is an extremely busy motorway and unfortunately has its share of delays.
Travellers are not allowed to be dropped outside the terminal and need to use the 15 minute car park.
By Train
is located below the terminal building and transfer is by Stansted Express which operates from Liverpool Street every 15 minutes with a journey time of 45 minutes.
Naturally this service can be connected to cities all over the UK.
Additionally Central Trains connects the Midlands and the North with the following connecting railway stations.
Audley End, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Leicester, Birmingham.
Peterborough to Leeds, York, Newcastle and Scotland and at Leicester for Derby and Sheffield.
